Very apt comment about the “hurricane” scenario and whether to weather the storm or return investor capital and move on. Often darkest just before the dawn.

  2. admin says:

    Jerry:

Thank you for participating in our 2013 Chemical Entrepreneurship Series with Neil Senturia and Barbara Bry. We look forward to seeing you at the next session, From Academia to Entrepreneurship on April 18 at 2pm ET!

    Sincerely,

    Erik Holderman

  3. Rong Zhou says:

I do not know why the video cannot be played when I clicked the “view webinars”. I attended the first one and missed the 2nd one.

    Best regards

    Rong

    Hi,

Can I still get the certificate of completion, if I watch the recordings of all the webinars. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to previous live webinars.

    Thanks
    Ashish

    Hi,

  7. admin says:

    Ashish:

A Certificate of Completion will be provided to those who have attended at least seven of the webinars as an ACS Member. You will need to provide the “Keyword” if you watch the recorded presentation to acswebinars@acs.org. If you attend live we already have your attendance verification. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at future ACS Webinars!

    Sincerely,

    Erik Holderman

  8. Michael C Trachtenberg says:

I saw only part of the presentation but it was excellent.
The key is practical & strategic thinking. Too many service providers are tactician & too many claim expertise in dealing with government rules and regulations but have not had prior life experience in the respective agencies.
    Neil’s & Barbara’s comments are right on.
I have started 5 companies & could have used their guidance early on to great benefit.

  9. admin says:

    Michael:

Thank you for your comment! We hope to see you at future ACS Webinars!

    Sincerely,

  10. Ross says:

I’m currently not yet an ACS member, but I am planning to join and would like to attain the certificate by watching the webinars. I want to verify that I am still eligible for the certificate even though I’m not yet a member. I also am wondering how I “Send a request to view the recorded presentation as a substitute for attending the live event.” Can you please provide me this information?
    Thanks!

  11. admin says:

    Ross:

Thank you for your interest in the 2013 Chemical Entrepreneurship Series on ACS Webinars! Ross you are eligible for the certificate of completion if you watch at least 7 out of 9 sessions and of course if you become an ACS Member before the end of the Series. If you attend LIVE your attendance is automatically recorded but if you happen to miss any of the sessions they can be found one week after their LIVE presentation date at the following website. http://acswebinars.org/chemical-entrepreneurship-2013

You may watch these sessions on the video player provided on the page. Once you have watched the full episode send us an email at acswebinars@acs.org with the keyword that is revealed during that specific presentation.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Erik Holderman

  12. Robena D. Robinett says:

Is there anyway a person (uh, like me?) could register for the school year???

    Robbie

  13. admin says:

Robena – You may register http://acswebinars.org/chemical-entrepreneurship-2013 for the remaining two live Chemical Entrepreneur webinars on September 19 and October 17 and you may also view the recordings of Series 1-7 at this same website. When you watch the recording, you will need to note the “keyword” used during the webinar so that you may email all of them from the recordings to us in order to obtain your certificate. Thanks for asking. Admin

  14. Karen says:

    Admin,
I do not see recordings, only the PDF slides, on the website.

  15. admin says:

Karen: Thank you for your interest in the 2013 Chemical Entrepreneurship Series on ACS Webinars! The video player is directly below the PDF slides you mention. Still can’t find it, the link to the entire playist is below.

    Dear ACS Webinars Admin,

I just started watching the series and I am thankful that you have the recordings available. I might be a bit late but may I still send the keywords after watching the entire series in order to get the certificate?

    Thanks!

  17. admin says:

Thank you for your interest in the 2013 Chemical Entrepreneurship Series!

Remember that in order to receive your “Certificate of Completion” you will have needed to complete two prerequisites:

    2) You must be an ACS Member. If you would like to find out more about membership you may go to http://www.join.acs.org

As long as you complete seven in the series before Nov 15th!
