ACS Webinars™ in the Classroom
Interested in using ACS Webinars™ to enhance teaching and learning outcomes?
Here is what educators are saying:
- “I encouraged my students to watch to better market themselves in industry.” – Robert Chaffins
- “This seminar provides an excellent base to teach some concepts of organic chemistry and biochemistry. Kids are much more motivated to learn when a real life application is involved.” – Brigitte Schmidt
- “I absolutely LOVE the Kitchen Chemistry Series. I am a high school chemistry teacher, and I have found quite a few ways to engage my students with food!” – Carlyn Fryberger
- “I assigned the viewing of [the ACS Webinar] to my chemistry class as homework. The students who viewed it thought it very informative, so I would like the rest of the class who was absent for an AP exam to see it…” – Sister Mary Albert Gasparski

I am a high school teacher. I have invited other teachers in my school to use seminars to motivate our students and to generate ideas for science projects.
I will be waiting for more information about using ACS webinars in the classroom.

I have found these webinars really informative.
If the video recordings from the presenter’s end of these webinars are available online (for free), I would like to use that in my AP/Honors Chemistry classes as I do with the videos from http://www.learnet.org
I am sure that other teachers would like to use this as well.
