About The Presenter
Dr. Barry J. Streusand founded Applied Analytical, Inc. in 1990 to meet the specialized needs of the growing number of semiconductor companies and their suppliers. Prior to that, Barry was one of the co-founder of Bandgap Technology Corporation (now Matheson Advanced Technology Center), and had worked at AMAX research organization. Barry was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Catalytic Science in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware after receiving his Ph.D. in chemistry in 1979 from the University of South Carolina. He has over twenty publications and patents in the areas of research, application, process, and analytical chemistry. Today, Applied Analytical has provided support to its customers, internationally, in the areas of custom chemical analysis, testing, measurement, and problem solving in fields as disparate as semiconductor, environmental, and biomedical applications.
