David Porter – Founding Partner, Apposite Capital, London
Before Apposite, David founded Nomura International’s healthcare investment and corporate finance group in 1997. Prior to this, he gained experience in buyouts with Nomura’s Principal Finance Group. He has been CEO of a number of companies, including an authorized bank. A chemistry graduate from Oxford University, David has more than 30 years experience in all aspects of the investment and financial world. Patrick Sheehan – Founding Partner, Environmental Technologies Fund, London
Patrick has 23 years of Venture Capital experience, originally with 3i, investing in the UK, mainland Europe, the USA and Israel. During this time he gained a reputation as a thought leader and innovator, investing in a wide range of technology companies across a variety of sectors. Patrick has a PhD in electronic engineering and a First Class Honours degree in electronic & electrical engineering from UCL.
Josh Wolfe – Founding Partner, Lux Capital Management, New York
Before forming Lux Capital, Mr. Wolfe worked in Salomon Smith Barney’s Investment Banking group, in capital markets at Merrill Lynch on its Financial Futures & Options/Government Strategy desk and at Prudential Securities in Municipal Finance. Mr. Wolfe graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Economics and Finance.
Pierre Suhrcke – General Partner PRE AG Switzerland
Pierre has been a Partner of the ABS Venture Funds which acquired most of Deutsche Bank’s venture portfolio through an MBO. Pierre has been on the board of many successful private companies in the US and Europe. Prior he has spent more than 17 years in various senior management positions in Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank. Roles included MD of DB Capital Venture Partners and Global Head of Risk Management. Pierre graduated in Business Administration from the University of Trier.
