Meet Your Expert
Dr. Josephine Yuen joined NSF as a Program Director in April 2009 after serving as a commercial reviewer for NSF’s SBIR/STTR program for 5 years. Her prior 30 year career in the private sector focused on taking new technologies to market. She held executive positions in three small businesses after more than two decades at AT&T and then its spinoff, Lucent Technologies. She was also the adjunct faculty at Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she taught MBA courses in Entrepreneurship, and developed and taught a course in Innovation Management for the Executive MBA program. Josephine holds a Ph.D. and a M.S. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University.

Questions about NSF SBIRs:
Can the same PI be on multiple proposals submitted during a round?
Can more than one proposal be submitted from the same company for same topic as long as the proposed work is different?
