Meet the Experts

Dr. Brent M. Znosko received a BS degree in chemistry in 1999 from Allegheny College.  He then received MS and PhD degrees in chemistry from the University of Rochester.  In 2004, he accepted a faculty position in the Department of Chemistry at Saint Louis University where he is now an Associate Professor.




Dr. Ann Newman is a pharmaceutical consultant at Seventh Street Development Group and has over 20 years of large pharma and contract research experience.  Dr. Newman received her PhD in chemistry from the Univ. of Connecticut and then worked at Bristol-Meyers Squibb.  She was VP of Materials Science at SSCI, Inc. and VP of R&D at Aptuit. She holds an adjunct faculty position in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy at Purdue Univ. and is an author/collaborator on over 100 articles, book chapters, and scientific presentations.

    To a question about printing posters, I’ve happily used in the past. I’ve found their prices MUCH lower than Kinkos or similar. They’ll also ship the poster directly to your meeting (so you’re not lugging it around or worrying about forgetting it on the plane).

    There is also PosteRazor, a program that cuts a large poster into whatever size paper you have on hand and then you “stitch” the individual pages together on the board (with plenty of tape). When done well/carefully it looks nearly as good as the one sheet poster.
